Exterior:

The all-new 2012 Honda Pilot has many standard safety features including Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with traction control.  This helps sense over-steer and under-steer conditions, then brakes individual wheels and/or reduces throttle input to help restore your intended path of travel.  Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure enhances occupant protection and crash compatibility.  Front, front side airbags and three-row side curtain airbags with rollover sensor all help to protect you and your passengers as well as the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

A push button to open the tailgate is now standard on EX-L models in addition to the Touring models. The lift-up glass hatch allows for quick access to the rear cargo area and is ideal for smaller items. Talk about convenient!

Thanks to refinements in the chassis, increased insulation and an acoustic windshield with double-pane glass, the 2012 Honda Pilot provides a quieter ride. Outside noise is significantly lessened with these new features.

Interior:

The 2012 Honda Pilot can seat up to eight people, comfortably, thanks to the 60/40 split-folding second and third-row seats.

Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, equipped in the EX models and up, allows you to make and receive calls with your compatible cell phone, so your hands stay on the wheel and your eyes on the road. Another standard feature on Pilot models EX and up is the Tri-Zone Automatic Climate Control System with Air Filtration, this allows you and your passengers choose the temperature they want!   

The 2012 Pilot features multiple entertainment options. Navigation-equipped models include Song by Voice, which lets you select your soundtrack from the 15-GB audio hard drive memory storage or an iPod plugged into the USB Audio Interface, using simple voice commands.  The DVD Rear Entertainment System keeps the rear passengers occupied with the 9-inch flip-down screen.


Fuel Efficiency:

Every Pilot features Honda's Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) which is designed to help improve fuel economy without sacrificing power.  It does this by automatically activating and deactivating multiple cylinders, depending on the vehicle's needs.  Friction reduction and aerodynamic improvements to the 2012 Pilot result in better fuel economy for both the 2WD and 4WD models.
